Our Special Signature Tour during which you get to experience the great variety of what Co Clare has to offer.
Highlighted by a visit to the world famous Cliffs of Moher, we drive along parts of the Wild Atlantic Way and meander through the roads of The Burren (Boireann in Irish, meaning “Great Rock”), which is a region of much environmental interest and dominated by glaciated karst landscape.

The Cliffs of Moher are 5 miles long and 700 ft high at it’s highest point near O’Brien’s Tower. From here the views are breathtaking – East to the Burren landscape, West to the Aran Islands, North to Galway Bay & the Twelve Pins & Maamturk Mountains in Connemara and South to Loop Head and beyond to the Kerry Mountains.

We leave Clareville House or collect you at your base and set off on a wonderful drive through the beautiful countryside of Co Clare.

We travel to Lahinch for a Photo Stop at its famous surfing beach and continue on through Liscannor, birthplace of John P Holland, inventor of the world’s first submarine.

We then pay a visit to St Brigid’s Holy Well, one of the oldest in the country. 

True Story: In 2018, Holy Water from here was flown across the Atlantic in the cockpit of an Aer Lingus flight and delivered to a sick child in Philadelphia!

Approx 1.5 hour stop to marvel at the magnificence of the famous Cliffs of Moher and enjoy a cliff walk with views over the Atlantic Ocean.

Travel on the Wild Atlantic Way to Ballyvaughan via Doolin and Fanore, with a photo stop at Black Head – Views of the Aran Islands, Galway Bay and the Connemara Mountains. Learn about the Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival!

Through the heart of the Burren with short stops at Poulnabrone Dolmen and Leamaneh Castle. Hear the story of the notorious Maire Rua ( Red Mary)!

We travel on to the Burren Perfumery, which specializes in making cosmetics and perfumes inspired by the landscape of the Burren. Learn about the “Turloughs” (Disappearing Lakes) of the Burren.

We continue on to Kilmacduagh Monastic Site to experience it’s peace, tranquility, magnificent ruins and Round Tower – Highest in Ireland & known locally as “The Leaning Tower of Clare” !
Arrive back to base refreshed after a wonderful day’s tour!
